Join Rabbi Schaefer and Cantor Fox, as we join with local Reform synagogues to begin our prayers for forgiveness in preparation for the High Holy Days.
We are truly excited to welcome Cantor Sierra Fox to CMI as of July 1. This summer and fall, there will be numerous opportunities for congregants to meet Cantor Fox and welcome her to our community.
Some events such as services and open houses will take place at CMI; others will be held at the homes of congregants who have generously offered to host small “meet-and-greet” receptions much like the ones we held to welcome Rabbi Schaefer. As in the past, these will be limited in capacity and will require registration in advance.
Our beloved Cantor Arthur Giglio is retiring on June 30, 2025, and his last Cantor’s Concert & Fundraiser will be on Sunday afternoon, March 30, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., with a pre-concert FUNdraising and light nosh reception beginning at 2:00 p.m.
The Board of Trustees of Congregation Mishkan Israel is thrilled to share some exciting news about our Raise the Roof campaign. As many of you are aware, the time has come to replace the roof of our extraordinary mid-century model jewelbox of a building, and we are embarking on a campaign to raise funds to restore it to its former glory. To this end, we are thrilled to announce that we have received a $200K preservation grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places toward the restoration of the roof of our beautiful building.
