Join us on Sunday December 21 for the Chanukah Torch Run, an annual, fun-filled CMI tradition! We meet up at East Rock Park at 8:15 a.m. and jog/run to CMI, where a jubilant crowd greets us for the Religious School's lighting of our Hanukkiah at 9:30 a.m. Jeremy Schwartz will return as our Torch Run Captain this year and will lead our runners on the 1 mile walk to the East Rock summit and the 2.5 mile jog/run to CMI, while we carry our "authentic" torch from Modiin, the town where Chanukah originated. All ages and fitness levels are welcomed. PreK-6th graders must be accompanied by an adult. RSVP to Michelle if you would like to participate.
After the Torch Run and assembly, students and families are invited to join us for a Chanukah party beginning at 11:00 a.m.! Enjoy latkes and soufganyot, dance and play games, take a photo in a dreidel costume! Join us for a festive morning of celebration!
