"Forging equitable research and educational partnerships at home and abroad"

 We will have a relaxed dinner and evening of conversation.  Our speakers are Drs. Jeremy Schwartz and Tracy Rabin, CMI members.

Tracy is Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine, Associate Clinical Professor at Yale School of Nursing, and Graduate Medical Education Director for Global and Community Health Education at Yale New Haven Health.  She provides direct care, trains students and residents, and co-directs a collaboration with a university and teaching hospital in Uganda, among many other roles. Her areas of academic interest include global health education and clinical ethics, health workforce development, and patient-centered diabetes care and education.

Jeremy, a member of the CMI Board and Chair of the Ritual Committee, is Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Public Health. He provides direct care, teaches, and trains residents locally, while also leading a collaborative research program focused on innovative approaches to chronic disease management in low-resource settings. Most of Jeremy's research is based in Uganda where he has worked over the past 20+ years and where he co-directs a research and training collaboration (UINCD) and leads multiple active research studies. His portfolio of international and domestic research is housed at the Global Chronic Care Access Lab at Yale School of Medicine.
