Anti-Semitism and Islamophobia Education and Solidarity Sessions:

Monday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 21, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, ZOOM only

CONECT’s interfaith education team is offering two powerful education and solidarity forums to all members of CONECT’s congregations. On Monday, May 19, “Confronting Islamophobia & Anti-Muslim Hate, will be led by Aida Mansoor, Director of Field Education at Hartford International University for Religion and Peace. The session on May 21, “Confronting Anti-Semitism & Anti-Jewish Hate,” will be led by Sophia McGee, Facilitator and Coach with Project Shema. During this time of polarization and scapegoating of both Jews and Muslims, join us to learn about these forms of bias and hatred and how to act in solidarity with our Jewish and Muslim peers to interrupt and confront them.
