This month we will discuss “Daniel Deronda”, George Eliot’s latest novel. “Daniel Deronda” is a psychologically incisive investigation, full of George Eliot‘s wisdom about human nature. The contemporary novelist, Cynthia Ozick, calls Eliot her hero and praises the novel for its “morally serious, historically judicious and passionately just” advocacy for Zionism.
