At this meeting, we will discuss “The Best Minds” by Jonathan Rosen, which chronicles his childhood friendship with Michael Laudor and Laudor's tragic descent into mental illness, which culminates in a violent crime. The book explores themes of friendship, mental illness, ambition, and the failures of the mental healthcare system.
